UK Serama Club

Bullying/Unseemly Behaviour Policy

No UKSC Youth Member should be made to feel uncomfortable by another member. If you receive any PMs or emails from another UKSC member that make you feel uncomfortable, the Youth Administrator should be contacted immediately. The Youth Administrator will contact the UKSC member who has alerted the concern and will talk things through with them in a mature and sympathetic manner.

A course of action will be taken and it is up to the UKSC Youth Member how far the Youth Administrator goes by way of investigation. Each case will be discussed with the Main Administrator (and the Main Administrator can take over the case – but the Youth Administrator will still remain actively involved in all investigations), and if any UKSC Youth Member is found to be harassing another UKSC Youth Member, that Member could be suspended or banned from the UK Serama Club. Any suspension or banning will be via email to the UKSC Youth Member.

All investigations will remain CONFIDENTIAL (the only people who can read the investigation are: Main Administrator, Youth Administrator, and any legal authority such as the police).

Courses of Action
1. Notification to the Youth Administrator via email.
2. The Youth Administrator will contact the member by email (or if they so wish by other means – telephone, MSN messenger etc)
3. Discussion of the situation from the start. Everything discussed is noted down for future reference (if needed).
4. The following outcomes will be considered:
a) No immediate action but situation will be monitored.
b) The offending Member will be notified by email of possible consequences.
c) In the case of suspension, the Youth Administrator and the Main Administrator will decide the length of suspension.
d) If the offence is considered severe the Member may be banned – in which case there will not be any refund of their UKSC membership fee.

IF THE OFFENCE IS SUCH THAT IT BREAKS THE LAW, THE POLICE WILL BE CONTACTED.

ALL DECISIONS WILL BE MADE IN WRITING BY EMAIL.
Just to let you all know I only help out with YaBB as it is great software and is free for all to use. Like all the developers I want YaBB to be successful and I think it will go far to be honest. Put it another way you don't get anything in life for free.
